Hopkins Heartland Wedding in Lewes, Delaware - Sandy & Jeremy

Whooo! I am getting caught up from a hot second, but I have to share the highlights of this beautiful day in Lewes, Delaware. Sandy and Jeremy's wedding was intimate and stunning with a focus on family.

The day started slow with the crew getting ready and hanging out at the Dogfish Inn for a super fun and laid-back morning. A cute dog even made an appearance. We did the sweetest first look on the canal waterfront with just Sandy and Jeremy, and then knocked out our bridal party photos in front of the Dogfish Inn.

I have to pause to mention that I love strangers sometimes. One of the neighbors stopped by and saw that these two were getting married. He offered his dock for us to have a sweet quiet moment after the first look and capture some sweet bridal portraits. I love to think outside the box and ask people if I can try things or use their property. With weddings, people are usually so happy and excited for the couple that they love to contribute to the day. We then moved on via trolley ride to the Hopkins Heartland venue for the ceremony and reception with the epic bridal crew. Trolley might be my new favorite wedding party bus option.

The Honey Bee Barn at Hopkins Heartland was decked out in a retro-rustic and personalized feel, and Sandy made so much of the decor with her Cricut - talk about epic brides! You know I love me a good turntable to throw some records on. Happy Hour Events was Sandy and Jeremy's coordinator, and Dana did a great job putting all the details together so thoughtfully. Enjoy these sweet moments from their day that topped off with epic dancing, a cigar lounge, and ice cream. The dream.

If you are curious about Hopkins Heartland and/or Honey Bee Barn, I highly recommend! It was a fun, intimate venue, and the staff was incredible helping me with locations for family photos and bridal portraits, and being on constant standby to ensure the couple had everything they could want or need.
